My Rufioh cosplay at Detour last weekend!
I only wore it for the Panel + “Draw” Party but it was a fun costume c:
break out your sketchbooks, the Anime Detour 2013 Draw Party is happening with style.
Just after panelstuck, make your way down to the Garden Court. We will have music to dance, and a ton of artists with homestuck art to give away!
Draw meets are my favorite part of conventions, can’t wait to see all of you!

dreamer costumes.

Sorry about the wait everyone! You have until March 25th at 4pm to submit a completed form to deckitout@hotmail.com. Results will be posted that night UNLESS there is a close call. if that happens I will organize a Skype call for that night or the next day with the candidates for the role.
the characters I am looking for auditions of are Jane, Roxy, Dirk, Jake, Kankri, Damara, Mituna, Meulin, Porrim, Latula, Aranea, Horuss, Kurloz, Cronus and Meenah
FORM
1. Preferred name, Age, and link to Tumblr or other site, and Skype name.
2. Please send a photo or your completed costume. Or your nearly completed costume. Please be in full grey makeup, or supply the method of application you plan to use.
3. Film a video (either uploaded with a link or attached) answering the following questions in character within 2 minutes*
- What fandom do you participate in the most?
- What is something you would have like to have done while you were alive.
or if you are auditioning for someone still alive
- If you knew you were going to die tomorrow what would you make sure to do?
answer these questions as if you were actually on a panel. That being said, the audience needs to able to get a general idea of what you are talking about.
Lastly, before auditioning make sure you are comfortable with staying in character in all situations. And willing to go the extra mile to make a joke.

This was probably one of the best cons I’ve been too!!
I had a ton of fun! Got to hang out with people that I didn’t get a chance to at detour and meet a bunch of other kids too c:
It was pretty nostalgic being back to the hotel I went to my first con at 5 years ago with Sara
We went from being those first time con goers who waste all their cash right away. (I bought a naruto jacket and a KH necklace that detour)
To Sara now MC’ing the Maquerade and doing an amazing job as Cosplay staff. And me making more money than I ever thought possible off that doodling habit that teachers always yelled at me for, and running a panel that had a line formed over an hour early.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by my table! You’re helping me out so much by buying my stuff and I really hope you enjoy it. ;;
